PSI-Caribbean’s early work was founded in HIV prevention and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) across the english-speaking Caribbean, Belize and Suriname. The Got It? Get It? campaign first focused on strategies for condom promotion, and then expanded more broadly to increase access to SRH information and services. Peer Educators were trained throughout the region to implement outreach activities in their respective communities, while services were provided via the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) member affiliates. Got It? Get It? Programs targeted at-risk communities including youth; sex workers; and military populations. As with all PSI-Caribbean programs, Got It? Get It? uses a social and behavior change communication (SBCC) model and interventions are planned to target different levels of the ecosystem, including the individual, their community and the larger society that influences social norms and behaviors.
